• Our Wee Bio

  We, Collin & Joanna, are a young married couple who were living in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, (now near Stratford, Ont) who built a Tumbleweed Tiny House. January 2010, we discovered Jay Shafer & his unique designs for small homes. Instantly, we fell in love with the idea of building an off the grid, affordable, build-able and movable home. After all, for the price of a down payment on a large house, we can build a whole one! Our dream to live in it has come true one year later, nestled into a forest on friends property. Hopefully, we'll buy land to permanently move it onto. Thank you for your support in our dreams.
